About Qantas

With Qantas, you’ll discover warm Aussie hospitality from the moment you step onboard.  As Australia’s national carrier since 1920, Qantas’ success is largely due to its belief that the journey should be as memorable as the destination. And that’s why we love them. From take-off to touch-down, you’ll enjoy an unparalleled travel experience with the ‘Spirit of Australia’.

Check-in

Web Check-in

The online check-in window will open 24 hours before your departure time and will remain available until two hours before you fly. Using web check-in means you can print out your boarding pass at home in advance. Keep in mind, if you are checking any baggage, this must be done a minimum of 90 minutes prior to your departure time.

Mobile Check-in

The pre-departure process is an absolute breeze when you download the Qantas mobile app! You’ll have access to your boarding passes, be able to select your seating preferences, and get notified with live updates about any information affecting your particular flight (e.g. baggage, terminal and gate information), all from the palm of your hand.

Airport Check-in

You can check in at the airport up to 90 minutes before your flight hen travelling in Economy or Premium Economy, and up to 60 minutes before your flight when travelling in Business or First Class. Business and First Class travellers have access to dedicated check-in areas and fast-track immigration for a more expedited experience.
